Featured in publications such as The Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Magazine, Create Magazine, Orlando Leisure, and Orlando Arts, Rafael and his wife Lissa are the owners of Cartoon You Caricatures, a nationally rated 5-Star caricature entertainment company based in Orlando, Florida that provides affordable and professional caricature for all types of events – from studio made to order art to in person caricature entertainment. We offer traditional hand drawn studio caricatures and high-tech digital caricatures to meet our client’s needs.

Rafael worked as an artist for Disney and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. He taught college art for RMCAD, IADT, Art Institute and Crealde Art School. He earned his BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, and his Masters from Syracuse University. He trained in NYC, London, and San Francisco under Society of Illustrator gold medal artists, and under Marvel and DC Comics artists.
